Agent Drops Rose McGowan For BLASTING Adam Sandler!?!
After Rose McGowan complained about Sandler’s movie, Sheila Wenzel, her Agent Drops Rose McGowan For BLASTING Adam Sandler “amid [her] firing flap” tweet.
CelebNMusic247.com has just got word via THR that Sheila Wenzel, the agent who represented Rose McGowan has officially dropped the star for NOT playing the Hollywood game.
Here is the report on McGowan, who spoke up about sexism in Hollywood earlier this month:
Rose McGowan has been fired by her acting agent.
The 41-year-old spoke up about sexism in Hollywood earlier this month and now claims that her agent let her go due to the controversial statements.
McGowan tweeted on Wednesday that her “wussy acting agent” had fired her but still managed to laugh off the matter, clearly seeing it as a glaring (albeit frustrating) example that illustrated her point.
The actress-turned-director wrote:
“I just got fired by my wussy acting agent because I spoke up about the bullsh** in Hollywood. Hahaha. #douchebags #awesome #BRINGIT.”
She posted this tweet SLAMMING her acting agent Sheila Wenzel from Innovative:
McGowan reveled what the note said:
“Black (or dark) form-fitting tank that shows off cleavage (push up bras encouraged). And form-fitting leggings or jeans. Nothing white.”
While she did not directly say Adam Sandler’s name, McGowan made it quite easy to decipher who she was talking about in the caption:
“Casting note that came w/script I got today. For real.”
“Name of male star rhymes with Madam Panhandler hahahaha I die.”
But she did it! Rose has always been a woman who exudes sex until recent years.
On Wednesday she tried to clean up her mess about dissing Sandler saying to Entertainment Weekly: ‘I’m not trying to vilify Adam Sandler.
She revealed:
“I was offended by the stupidity more than anything. I was offended by the fact that went through so many people’s hands and nobody red flagged it. This is normal to so many people. It was probably even a girl that had to type it up. It’s institutionally okay.”
She also openly talked about one of her first experiences with sexism in Hollywood:
“When I did my first film, I was told by my agent that I would need to have long hair so men in this town would want to f*** me and hire me. That was said to a 17-year-old.”
As if any person who wants to be an actor in Hollywood doesn’t already know this?
We get that it’s offensive, but men deal with the same sexiest things said to them as women do. basically is Rose can’t handle the heat in the kitchen then get out.
There are some things that NEED to be exposed, and there are some things that will NEVER change. Hollywood is a beast – it will chew you up and spit it out if you let the sexism and little things like Rose’s complaints fool you.
This is a battle that will NEVER be won. Sorry to be honest, but its true.
What do you think?
