Empire’s Grace Gealey Confirms Engagement To Trai Byers!!!

Yes its true, Boo Boo Kitty aka Anika on FOX hit series has some exciting news of her own because Empire’s Grace Gealey Confirms Engagement To Trai Byers.

Last year nobody knew who Grace Gealey was, CelebNMusic247.com interviewed the rising star of Empire and now we are happy to announce Grace is engaged. We previously told you over the summer that they were rumored to have been dating and had possibly gotten engaged, but there was no confirmation until today.

Here is what we just got word on:

Gealey gave America its first glimpse at her massive engagement ring during an appearance on FABLife, and boy is she one lucky lady!

In real life, Gealey is engaged to her Empire co-star Trai Byers, gushed about her soon-to-be hubby and how she believes there is nothing wrong with dating co-stars…as long as it’s done in the right way!

The 31-year-old Empire actress explained:

“I think that if two people are mature and they’re able to understand that if this doesn’t work out – cause first, I’m not a fan of flings when you work, cause that’s where it gets a little dangerous.”

“I think that if you do get involved – I keep wanting to say on set – I think that if you do get involved at your workplace you have to know that this is something that you want to be invested in, and this is just not just something that is frivolous and fleeting.”

Gealey continued:

“[You have] to have the maturity to say that if this doesn’t work out, you’re not going to you know, throw staplers.”

She showed off her engagement ring to show host Tyra Banks brought up Byers name.

Grace waved around the ring, confirming:

“For real, for real. Not a fling…I’m engaged.”

“Have you told anybody this?” Banks asked.

Gealey responded:

“I just did!”

Rumors of an engagement have surrounded the superstar duo since July. But now it appears the cat is officially out of the bag!
