CelebNMusic247.com reports that Dumblonde singer Aubrey O’Day formerly of Danity Kane, the popular girl group from the early 2000s didn’t last the test of time musically.
Danity Kane became part of music’s past in 2009, so Aubrey O’Day, Dawn Richard, and Shannon Bex created DK3.
In a recent interview when Dawn was trying to explain how their new girl group DK3 was “magic, because it always, at our core, was the chemistry.” Though, O’Day could help herself by throwing it out there that Diddy NEVER paid them.
She stated:
And we weren’t being paid. I mean, don’t get it twisted, Diddy did never send the check. We never got a big payment. We had to like each other without getting paid, we had to like each other genuinely because we believed that was powerful for women, and for society in general, but specifically, because we’re a girl group, for women.
DK3 is no more and now Aubrey is part of Dumblonde, her new girl duo. No matter where she is in her career, Aubrey O’Day has been vocal about Diddy NEVER paying any of the Danity Kane members. It’s something she has never let go.
