Drake Subliminally Claps Back at Jay Z
Well that was short lived becasue Drake reneged on NOT responding to Jay Z’s response on Jay Electronica’s track regarding the art diss.
CelebNMusic247.com has learned that Drake dropped a new song called “Draft Day,” filled with subliminal shots directed at Jay Z
Drake just released a new track called “Draft Day,” on social media and already Hip Hop heads are buzzing about his lyrical content. Drizzy takes samples from Lauryn Hill’s classic track “Doo-Wop (That Thing),” but people are talking because it sounds like he’s taking some subliminal jabs at Jay Z.
He raps:
“I’m focused on makin’ records and gettin’ bigger/ Just hits, no misses, that’s for the married folk”
Unlike Jay Z, Drake wasn’t direct and never named Jay Z, but many seem to think the bar was indeed a diss. Regardless, most took to social media to praise Drake’s new track, but have a listen for yourself:
Is this the beginning a something huge between Drake and Jay Z like 50 Cent said when he weighed in on the feud?
Tell us if you’re feeling it.
