Drake Lies About Jacking Music For Pound Cake!

Drake has been caught red handed for track jacking but the Young Money rapper refuses to admit that he shamelessly stole a jazz musician‘s lyrics!

CelebNMusic247.com has learned that Drake has NOT only jacked a track by jazz musician Jimmy Smith he has also been caught lying about getting the proper permission.

The jazz musician’s people has now come forward claiming that Drizzy used the track for his “Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2” single which was taken  from the 1982 song — “Jimmy Smith Rap.”

Drizzy uses the song begins with a 35 second monologue from a 1982 song “Jimmy Smith Rap” recorded by jazz musician Jimmy Smith.

According to a new lawsuit — obtained by TMZ — Drake never got permission to use the clip.  Even worse, represented in the liner notes that the clip was properly licensed.

Jimmy’s dead, but his Estate insists in the lawsuit NO permission was given nor did anyone ask for it.

The Estate is going after Drake, Cash Money Records and a bunch of others … gunning for more than $300K.

This is not the first time that the “Pound Cake” rapper has been accused of jacking tracks. Back in January, CelebNmusic247.com reported on Drake Jacking lyrics from Bay Area veteran Rappin 4 Tay’s “Playaz Club” for his verse on YG’s “Who Do You Love”.

So far neither Drake or anyone from his camp has commented of the track jacking.
