(CelebNMusic247-News) DMX Says Iyanla Fix My Life Ruined His Life
Iyanla: Fix My Life premiered on Saturday night over the weekend and featured hip hop veteran DMX who is now claiming that Iyanla ruined his life.
The show was an indepth attempt to help X, born Earl Simmons, kick the habit.
DMX made his much ballyhooed appearance on Iyanla: Fix My Life over the weekend and while the show seemed to draw a lot of eyeballs, the troubled rapper claims it did little to actually help him.
The Dark Man X‘s rep Domenick Nati of Nati Celebrity Services said in a statement (via AllHipHop).
“DMX agreed to be a guest on ‘Iyanla: Fix My Life’ with the understanding that she would be helping his relationships with his 10 children.”
“When he arrived for the taping, most of the content was focused on his struggles with drugs and poor parenting. Iyanla did not ‘fix’ DMX’s life just made his image worse, and does not have DMX’s personal written consent to use the footage.”
The show aired anyway without DMX’s concent and largely depicted X as an drug-addicted lost cause The FULL episode can be be viewed in full FULL HERE.
While Earl and his rep contest the show and the usage of the footage veteran rapper Bun B took to his Twitter to weigh in on X’s situation.
A very concerned Bun B wrote on Twitter.
“I know a lot of people like DMX.”
“It’s sad to watch someone so talented give his life over to demons. My heart breaks for his children man.”
