CelebNMusic247.com reports that Sean “Diddy” Combs was completely transparent when speaking about Kim Porter.
Diddy said in a 15-minute speech at her Saturday funeral held in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia.
He admitted:
I didn’t really understand how to… love.
He continued to say at a local church:
We went through some circumstances, my mother and my family, and we didn’t have a big family and [Porter] just started breaking down the exterior, any shell that I put up.
Though he just celebrated his 49th birthday with an epic blowout, Combs admitted that he’d been struggling with depression.
Sean told mourners at Porter’s funeral:
I was going through a really dark time, I don’t know why. She would come over, and even though we wasn’t together, she was that type of person.
Though Porter and Combs hadn’t been a couple in years, the Bad Boy Entertainment founder said the two shared an irreplaceable bond, and during his darkest times.
Porter was there for him. She lifted him up, and would literally make him get out of bed.
Combs admitted:
It’s hard to love somebody with you ain’t with them. She would come over and…she was just like, ‘Come on, Puff. You gotta get up. You gotta get up out the bed. You gotta get moving. You gotta get up.’
Stay Strong Puffy. We send our condolences.
