However, there is a new rumor boiling in the pot, thanks to Star Magazine who is cooking up this story claiming that “Diana Ross wants her son Evan to Stop! In the Name of Love when it comes to his girlfriend of five months, Ashlee Simpson.”

The legendary singer “doesn’t want Ashlee’s hard-partying lifestyle to rub off on Evan,” explains the tabloid.
“Diana’s worried that Ashlee will bring him down,” a source tells Star.
Really?
Because it seems unlikely that Ross would want to stand in the way of what seems like a lovely romance.
Especially since Star has not done well with its reporting on Simpson in recent months, fabricating controversy for her on numerous occasions.
