De La Soul Brings Hip Hop to BottleRock Napa
Hip Hop veterans De La Soul took to the stage and took over BottleRock Napa 2014 kicking off their set with “Oooh.”
The Trio had the crowd going wild as the brought them back to the day of hip hop’s golden age. They blew the roof off the stage as fans came in the droves to “Me Myself and I,” “Stakes is High,” “Ego Trippin, Part Two” and more hits from the Stakes is High, Buhloone Mindstate, 3 Feet High and Rising and De La Soul is Dead albums.
De La Soul has been around since the 90s and made thier mark in hip hop winning Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals and a Brit Award for International Breakthrough Act
It was great to see the Long Island, New York natives better known as De La Soul hit the stage and bring it back like no other. Their music is classic hip hop, like A Tribe Called Quest who helped shaped some of the best music to date for true hip hop heads.
