The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has unveiled the 2019 class of honorees who will receive a star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Cypress Hill, Teddy Riley to Receive Stars on Hollywood Walk of FameCelebNMusic247.com has learned that Not only has Hip Hop veterans Cypress Hill and the creator of the revolutionary New Jack Swing sound Teddy Riley are joining the ranks of the Hollywood elite.

Country singer Faith Hill, Tommy Mottola, P!nk, Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris and the late Jackie Wilson will also be getting their stars on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Cypress Hill — comprised of B-Real, Sen Dog, DJ Muggs and Eric Bobo — stepped on the scene in 1991 with their self-titled debut album. But, it was 1993’s Black Sunday that officially put them on the map. Songs like “Hits From The Bong,” “Insane In The Brain” and “I Ain’t Going Out Like That” made Cypress Hill household names and had kids all over America doing bong rips in their honor.

His sound changed the Hip Hop, Pop and R&B genres forever. Teddy influence on music across multiple generations is undeniable. From his days in Black Street and Guy, his music will live on in all of our hearts. Not only that, Riley also contributed in some of pop music award-winning hits that include Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, N’Sync, Usher and Britney Spears.

Cypress Hill makes up for the hip-hop aspect in music while Teddy Riley makes up for multiple platforms thanks to his New Jack Swing sound that changed everything.
