Crazy Rich Asians Star BLASTS Lil Pump RACIST Lyrics

When it comes to hip hop, rapper Lil Pump is catching major flack by Crazy Rich Asians star Awkwafina for his slanderous lyrics.

The Crazy Rich Asians star took to social media to expose Lil Pump for his insensitive lyrics slandering the Asian community. Read on…

CelebNMusic247.com reports that Lil Pump creativity may be taken as racist earlier today after previewing what seems to be his next single, “Butterfly Doors.”

Today, Lil Pump previewed his next single, “Butterfly Doors” but Awkwafina suggests lyrics are offensive.

Now, not being Asian, CelebNMusic247.com cannot speak for the Asian Culture or what may be offensive to an Asian individual. However, we support her views saying that the song can be taken “racist” by the Asian community.

Though, we can also understand that Lil Pump was using his influences and cultural experiences and putting it into his music. Unfortunately, his choice to use the lyrics “Smokin’ on dope/ They call me Yao Ming ’cause my eyes real low (ching chong)” does come off offensive.

He only makes it worse while rapping the last part, Lil Pump also stretched his eyelids. and the fact that he is suggesting slanted eyes come off racist.

Many found his comments and gesture insensitive and racist including Awkwafina who took to Twitter to put the rapper on blast.

Pump may be speaking about smoking weed, rolling it, but when he suggests that he’s so high he can barely open his eyes “They call me Yao Ming” it suggests he has Chinese eyes.

NOT a good look, dope beat though.

At the end of the day, Lil Pump is promoting weed culture, but the song is offensive to Asian Americans for spitting lyrics that say “They call me Yao Ming…Ching Chong.”

AWKWAFINA responded with these words:
