Craig Ferguson Leaving The Late Late Show
After ten years of The Late Late Show, Craig Ferguson quits. Ferguson just announced that he and CBS will be parting ways this December.
CelebNMusic247.com has just found out via Ferguson himself, who broke the news to his stunned studio audience on Monday during the taping of that evening’s show.
Craig joked:
“CBS and I are not getting divorced, we are ‘consciously uncoupling,’ but we will still spend holidays together and share custody of the fake horse and robot skeleton, both of whom we love very much.”
While Nina Tassler, CBS’ Entertainment Chairperson offered these kind words:
“During his 10 years as host, Craig has elevated CBS to new creative and competitive heights at 12:30… He infused the broadcast with tremendous energy, unique comedy, insightful interviews and some of the most heartfelt monologues seen on television.”
At this time there is no word who will be taking over The Late Late Show? Could it be Chelsea Handler?
Word is, Ferguson is moving on since he has a few other TV gigs in the pipe — including one about science! — we wish him the best in his endeavors.
