CelebnMusic247.com reports that over the weekend Ne-Yo took to social media speaking on his marriage to Crystal Smith.
Ne-Yo wrote in a post:
Today marks 6 years of marriage. It has been a bumpy beautiful, tragically terrific ride full of twists n’ turns, up’s n’ down’s…and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We’ve grown so much. With the understanding that we’ve still got some growing to do, of course, I have to acknowledge how far we’ve come.
The R&B crooner continued to say:
I think once we both realized that marriage isn’t ownership…but a partnership, we found our tempo, our melody. And now we’ve become a beautiful harmony.
I pray we sing this song forever.

In addition to their marriage becoming a “partnership” Ne-Yo and wife Crystal Smith are expecting their third child together.
Ne-Yo + Crystal Smith Expecting 3rd Child:
On Sunday, the 41-year-old singer posted a video to Instagram as he cradled his wife’s growing baby bump.
Ne-Yo captioned the video:
Overjoyed to announce……the family is expanding…!
In the video, the couple looked overjoyed as Major’s song, “Why I Love You,” played in the background.
Ne-Yo and Smith, 34, have two sons together, Shaffer, 4, and Roman, 2. The “Let Me Love You” crooner also shares two children with his ex, Monyetta Shaw.
As we said, the happy news comes after the pair had reconciled following their break-up in February 2020.
Weirdly enough, the COVID-19 quarantine helped the duo to work through their differences. We hope this will make thier marriage even stronger and no more talk of divorce in the future.
