Columbus Short Arrested Again

Over the 4th of July weekend, actor Columbus Short was arrested for the 4th time on the 4th of July weekend when a waitress thought he was doing a dine and ditch.

Columbus Short spent part of his Fourth of July holiday in police custody out in Dallas after a waitress accused Short of dine and ditch.

CelebNMusic247.com has learned that the former star, Columbus Short of the ABC hit TV show Scandal, was arrested at the Katy Trail Ice House Friday evening for public intoxication. He played attorney Harrison Wright on Scandal.

There was NO mugshot was available for Short, but the troubled star can’t seem to catch a break. See Short explained that he was eating by himself and had to use the restroom so when he got up to head to the bathroom a Katy Trail Ice House waitress accused him of dine and ditch, calling the police.

Once Dallas police arrived they confronted Columbus, who called the cops racist, the only problem one of the police officers was black.

Short landed himself his 4th legal problems with police who sighted Short with public intoxication, Dallas police confirm.

Short is facing two criminal cases, one accusing him of misdemeanor spousal battery and another accusing him of felony battery that seriously injured a man during an altercation at a West Hollywood restaurant in March.

Short was charged Feb. 14 with misdemeanor spousal battery and has pleaded not guilty in that case. A judge ordered him to stay away from his wife, Tuere Short, at a March 5 court hearing.

If convicted, Short faces up to four years in state prison.
