Newly obtained court documents show that the 32-year-old singer will not face charges in his battery case due to insufficient evidence.

We previously reported, back in June of this year, law enforcement was called to Chris Brown’s home in San Fernando Valley after a woman accused him of slapping her so hard that her weave came out.

Following the allegations, Brown seemingly responded on his Instagram story saying:

Y’all so d*** [cap].

If you recall, there were no arrests made, the allegations were investigated but the L.A. City’s Attorney’s Office declined moving forward due to the lack of evidence provided.

The decision on this case may be a relief for the singer but this is not where his legal issues end.

Earlier this week, Brown and Canadian-born rapper Drake faced a new lawsuit for copyright infringement for their hit song, ‘No Guidance.’

Brown and Drizzy are being sued by the producer and singer are suing the two artists for copyright infringement and looking to take home some serious cash in return, according to court papers.
