Chico DeBarge Arrested Again For Meth Possession!
For the second time this year, Chico DeBarge has been arrested for drug possession. This is the fourth time in the past 15 years he’s been arrested for drug possession.
CelebnMusic247.com reports that cops received a call on Saturday (Nov. 6) about a man causing a disturbance inside of an RV, the man happened to be Chico DeBarge.
When cops arrived they came in contact with DeBarge, 55. That’s not all, the police also realized his motorhome had a registration that expired over 6 months ago.
Then this happened.
Once the vehicle was impounded, the cops discovered methamphetamine and other drug-related material inside the vehicle.
Chico was arrested and booked for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. DeBarge was later released from custody, committing to his future citation appearance.
Back on January 13, DeBarge was charged with DUI, drug possession, and even an impersonation charge for pretending to be his older brother, James DeBarge.
Those two times were not the only time he was arrested for Meth. A couple of years ago he was busted in a Walmart packing lot on meth. He was also arrested in 2007 for drug possession.
DeBarge has admittedly struggled with drug addiction for years. The DeBarge brothers’ struggles with drug possession and addiction dates back to the 80s, during some of their most prominent entertainment years.
On Oct. 21, it was reported that Tommy DeBarge passed away due to kidney failure. Tommy and brother Bobby (Robert) DeBarge were the founding members of the R&B group Switch.
They eventually left the band to mentor their younger brothers and sister for the DeBarge group.
