(CelebNMusic247-News) Charlie Sheen FIRES Selma Blair
To put it mildly, Charlie Sheen is a guy who’s used to getting his way and when he wants someone off his show, he makes the call!
Here’s the drop:
The Anger Management star and his on screen therapist-slash-love interest, Selma Blair’s rift began when she apparently started complaining to producers about Charlie showing up late and having a bad work ethic. Both of these complaints are likely valid, in light of the things we heard when Sheen was fired from Two and a Half Men. (Not to mention the fact that Charlie’s a recovering drug addict who doesn’t really seem to believe in rehab.)
You would think, Charlie would be cool with Selma, but after his Two and A half Men fiasco, it seems he no longer wants to hear any complaining, especially when the show is catered to him. When Selma complained, Sheen swiftly responded to her with walking papers!
Yes Charlie fired my favorite character on the show….and yes we think it SUCKS!
Rather than dealing with the issue, Sheen lashed out, saying that Blair was out of line because he’s the show’s star (Blair plays his therapist-slash-love interest), and that he has to learn “40 pages of lines per episode compared to her 2.”
Shortly after Charlie’s rant, he began telling people that Selma was fired. Then Charlie became a Diva and most likely needed to have a Snicker moment, but instead, he threatened not to work if she showed up to set on Monday.
Word is, Charlie send her a text to let her now she was axed:
It read:
“YOU’RE FIRED!”
Even though this is a step lower than Chris Brown immature and childish behavior, the temper tantrum seems to have worked and Blair is back to the unemployment line.
Even though this is the negotiating tactic of a two-year-old, it seems to have worked.
Producers announced on Tuesday:
“We are confirming that Selma Blair will not be returning to Anger Management and we wish her the very best.”
So now the series has to continue, with Blair leaving abruptly right in the middle of the season, because Charlie’s feelings were hurt.
Rumor has it, He’s apparently already reached out to Mila Kunis for a 10 episode deal that would pay her $1 million for each show she’s on
Doesn’t this remind you of Will Smith having Janet Hubert fired from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air when things didn’t go his way?
