(CelebNMusic247-News) Chris Brown Facing Jail Time
The 24-year-old pop singer may be facing jail time after being charged in a hit-and-run accident.
Brown has made headlines since his 2009 attack on Rihanna and since then he’s continued to make negative headlines throughout his career. Though his music is genius, he seems to be a troubled artist who continues to lash out at the drop of a hat.
Last month, Breezy got into a car accident while driving around Los Angeles, Calif., Tuesday with “ex” girlfriend Karrueche Tran. His Range Rover rear-ended a Mercedes, but fortunately there were no reported injuries. Brown was NOT ONLY driving without a valid license, he made things worse for himself when he allegedly refused to give his driver’s license number to the unidentified driver of the Mercedes and gave false insurance information before leaving the scene.
Here’s the drop:
Chris Brown can receive a maximum of six months in jail for each offense. He’s also been charged with the crime of driving without a valid license. The crimes are punishable by a maximum of 6 months in jail for each offense.
The artist is already making headlines for another incident, after being accused of attacking a woman who was with him at a club Saturday night. Deanna Gines, 24, was in the VIP section with Brown at Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, Calif., after he had a performance when the incident occurred.
She told TMZ that, as the club closed, the “Actin Up” singer shoved her purposefully onto the floor, causing her to fall hard on her knees. She filed a police report and is now on crutches. She claimed she may even need surgery after the incident after doctors told her she has torn ligaments in her right knee.
However, Brown’s rep, Nicole Perna, told TMZ:
“I’m unaware of the incident, as is Chris’ lawyer and his entire team. He was in a great mood after Powerhouse. None of this makes sense.”
