KORN guitarist Brian Head Welch aired his feelings today on Facebook after news broke that his friend Chester Bennington of Linkin Park committed suicide!

CelebNMusic247.com caught wind of KORN’s Brian Head Welch who made it clear that he is PISSED about Chester Bennington killing himself.

Brian Head Welch, like us, doesn’t believe in committing suicide, the KORN guitarist says that taking your own life “is the cowardly way out.”

A few hours after it was announced that Chester Bennington had successfully committed suicide, Head took to social media to air his feeling about suicide.

“Honestly, Chester’s an old friend who we’ve hung with many times, and I have friends who are extremely close to him, but this is truly pissing me off! How can these guys send this message to their kids and fans?! I’m sick of this suicide shit! I’ve battled depression/mental illness, and I’m trying to be sempethetic, but it’s hard when you’re pissed! Enough is enough! Giving up on your kids, fans, and life is the cowardly way out!!!”

“I’m sorry, I know meds and/or alcohol may have been involved, I’m just processing like all of us and I know we are all having some of the same thoughts/feelings.”

“Lord, take Chester in your arms and please re-unite him with his family and all of us one day. Be with his wife and kids with your grace during this difficult time.!!!”

Later, Head corrected himself about being PISSED stating he was just overwhelmed was on emotional overload:

“I didn’t mean to sound insensitive about Chester. Just dealing with a range of emotions today.  Love you, Chester. I’m pissed that you did this, but I know this could have been me back in the day after getting wasted one night.”

He posted this video about Chester’s death:

We totally understand where Brian is coming from. When a friend takes their own life it is frustrating and to this day anger us. Hearing about Chester, has deeply upset us here at CelebNMusic247.com. Bennington was a great guy and we’re mad he did this. #STOPSUICIDE

Life gives you hurdles and you just have to jump over them no matter how hard. SUICIDE IS NOT THE ANSWER!

LINKIN PARK bandmate Mike Shinoda confirmed Chester’s death via Twitter:

“Shocked and heartbroken, but it’s true. An official statement will come out as soon as we have one.”

It was reported that Chester was scheduled to join his bandmates for a photo shoot in Hollywood today. it was also said that Chester arrived back in L.A. Wednesday from Arizona. He was getting ready for their upcoming tour which will no longer be happening. The tour was set to kick off July 27 in Boston, with dates stretching into the fall.

KORN is currently on their north American tour which kicked off on June 16 in SLC and wraps in Cleveland, Ohio on August 8, 2017. KORN is badass we saw them at Aftershock in 2016. They are a MUST SEE band.
