CelebNMusic247.com has just learned that Axl Rose will be replacing AC/DC singer Brian Johnson, who was forced to stop touring on doctor’s orders!
Here is what we are hearing via Pitchfork
It’s now been confirmed that Axl Rose is the new frontman of AC/DC, following reports that they were spotted at the same studio together.
An official statement from the band reads:
“We are dedicated to fulfilling the remainder of our touring commitments to everyone that has supported us over the years, and are fortunate that Axl Rose has kindly offered his support to help us fulfill this commitment.â
It’s looking to be an unusually busy year for Rose, who also recently got back together with Guns N’ Roses’ classic lineup (including Slash and Duff McKagan).
It appears that the Guns N’ Roses tour will not be affected by the news that Axl will be the singer for AC/DC.
Following the run of European shows with AC/DC, Rose will tour the United States with Guns N’ Roses.
