CelebNMusic247.com reports that Busta Rhymes, 47, allegedly boarded a British Airways flight from New York City to London when he wasn’t able to find space for his bags in the overhead bins.
In an attempt to blow things way out of proportion a passenger decided say that hip hop veteran Busta Rhymes, born Trevor George Smith Jr., was scaring his wife and that she “was terrified.”
Several outlets have made sure to speak on the incident and how Busta was removed from the airline, but no one is reporting on Rhymes responding to the incident. That is why we are.
Busta took to social media as seen above since they wanted to create a narrative.
He said:
“This is how we create to those narratives” as he pans to his private jet he flew home to NYC on.
Here is how The Daily Mail reported this alleged incident:
The witness said:
The artist began getting irate…he was towering over my wife’s seat and she was terrified.
Another passenger claims:
Busta reportedly made “a woman start to cry,” and “the situation escalated very quickly”
Another witness said:
Someone remarked to the captain that Busta was the only person behaving aggressively, which prompted him to make a speech trying to justify his behavior. He explained that he had a ‘hard life’ and that he wasn’t trying to threaten the passenger with violence, instead claiming that he just wanted to talk to him to sort out the issue once they had landed.
Footage also surfaced, in which he can be heard saying:
Now the thing that’s getting out of hand is you’re gonna patronize me when I’m out here talking about the powers that be. Keep looking at me, laughing in my face. We’re all grown. There’s no reason for you to be jumping involuntarily, including yourself in this discussion that had nothing to do with you.
According to PEOPLE, the flight took off with all parties involved, but Busta was reportedly met by British authorities on the flight. He was not arrested.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police confirmed in a statement:
Officers at Heathrow were requested by the airline of an inbound plane to Heathrow Airport from the US to attend following an alleged verbal altercation involving several passengers. They boarded the plane once it had landed at approximately 6:52am on Tuesday 30 July and spoke to the parties involved. There were no reported injuries, and no offenses disclosed. The passengers concerned then proceeded with their journeys.
British Airways told People that the “cabin crew and Captain reassured all the customers involved…all those in the cabin were given the option of moving away, and the flight did not depart until everyone confirmed that they were happy to continue.”
This is a joke. To all people, all black men are NOT a threat. And all men are NOT abusive. Get a F’n clue and mind your business.
