CelebNMusic247.com reports once Biracial Rapper Tiny Jag learned that the AfroFuture Fest was charging white people double the price than “people of color” she was OUT!
According to Tiny Jag, whose real name is Jillian Graham, a Detroit based artist told the Detroit Metro Times:
I was immediately enraged just because I am biracial. I have family members that would have, under those circumstances, been subjected to something that I would not ever want them to be in … especially not because of anything that I have going on.
She added:

The news outlet reported on Thursday:
The early bird “people of color” tickets cost $10, while “non-POC” tickets cost $20.
Tiny Jag said she learned of the festival’s pay model when a white friend sent her a screenshot of an Instagram advertisement. She later publicly withdrew her support.
Since she QUIT AfroFest in Michigan fans have been embracing her for standing up for what is RIGHT!
One fan writes:
I just read on the news that you withdrew support from AfroFuture Fest because of racial disparities in ticket pricing. I just wanted to say that was very cool of you, and I admired your statement about it not being a productive solution to historic inequality of treatment among races. It’s gutsy to make a stand for what’s right, and I just wanted to say thank you! You won a new fan today.
Another fan wrote:
Big props on pulling out of the festival charging non-POCs double!! I admit I wasn’t aware of you as an artist but wanted to show support to you in your stance. Thank you for your stance, which will lead to unifying all people!
The love and support continue:
Proud of you for being strong and getting out of the festival!!! My new hero !!!!
You are amazing !!!! Justice and equality unite people.
This type of racism truly NEEDS to be STOPPED immediately.
