Beyonce Addresses The Controversy

Now that the media has been having a field day with the Solange Jay Z elevator brawl her sister Beyonce is now addressing the controversy.

This week the hip hop community was in shock when Beyonce, Jay Z and Solange were caught on security cameras at the Standard Hotel in a brawl. Solange was going off punching and kicking Jay. Rumors started swirling, assumptions, speculations and gossip surface on every media outlet trying to figure out what the fight was about.

The only theory that made sense was that Jay could have possibly cheated on Bey and that is why Solange was upset. While other were claiming it had to due with Solange not being a part of the upcoming On The Run tour, which sounded crazy.

Now has Beyonce’s statement in regards to the incident that happened in the elevator. Just another Love and Hip Hop fight that will go down in history like the epic Biggie Smalls Lil Kim and Mary J Blige studio fight that was not portrayed properly in Notorious.

Beyonce addresses the controversy…

In a statement to the media Beyonce explains:

“As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family. The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day families have problems and we’re no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.”

Jay also made a statement asking the media to forget about the whole incident like they are.
