Beanie Sigel Still in ICU!!!

Philly rapper Beanie Sigel Still in ICU showing slight improvement but remains in a precarious position after being shot last week.

CelebNMusic247.com previously reported that Sigel was shot in Pleasantville and hospitalized. However, Sigel remains in ICU on a ventilator. The 40-year-old Philadelphia-born rapper Dwight Grant, better known as Beanie Sigel who remains intensive care unit since the shot to his abdomen is still life-threatening. As for, Pleasantville Police Chief Jose Ruiz, he says that Sigel was staying at his brother-in-law’s house at the time.

But in a strange twist in Beanie Sigel shooting investigation NBC Philadelphia reveals that his sister-in-law is among several people being looked at as persons of interest in the rapper’s shooting near the Jersey Shore last week.

Pleasantville Police said Friday they’d like to speak with Kamilah Salahuddin, whose gray Honda Odyssey was seen fleeing the scene of the Dec. 5 shooting along the 800 block of Spruce Avenue.

A man, Ricky Childress, jumped from the minivan during a police pursuit and ran away on foot, police said. He was eventually taken into custody, but the van got away. Officers found it later that night in another part of the town, police said.

A search of the car, as well as another vehicle involved in the shooting, and the home where Sigel lives turned up physical evidence, but police would not elaborate as to what was found.

The rapper has been able to respond by nodding his head, which indicates strongly that there has been no loss in brain function.

Beanie has been unable to speak to investigators in the case, but police maintain that other family members have been reluctant to talk to authorities.

Police also revealed that the rapper was not the intended target of the shooting, that occurred in Pleasantville, NJ.
