(CelebNMusic247-News) Basketball Wives Reunion Cancelled Over Evelyn Lozada
The fifth season of Basketball Wives all about Evelyn Lozada‘s marital breakdown from Chad Johnson and Tami Roman changing her image, but the season was lacking in ratings compared to the first 4 seasons.
When producers approached the ladies about filming the reunion, Evelyn Lozada said NO, because she is SICK of talking about her failed marriage to Chad Johnson, plus she’s not getting along with any of her castmates and is scared of secrets they may spill!
Now, sources tell TMZ that VH1 has decided to cancel the whole reunion after Evelyn refused to cooperate and filming will not be rescheduled. The other wives just have nothing exciting going on and have nothing to talk about so without Evelyn’s drama there basically is no point for a reunion. Producers felt there simply wasn’t enough material and no drama equals no ratings and waste of money.
Ouch?
Word is, Evelyn has several product lines in the works and other television opportunities, Evelyn is “tired of the cattiness” of BBW and wants to move on.

Evelyn’s difficult relationships with several of the ladies is another reason the reunion was nixed. Since filming wrapped Evelyn has fallen out with Tasha Marbury and Tami. “Marbury is still salty about Lozada writing
about her husband Stephon’s affair in her book, and believes Lozada is ‘not as loyal of a friend’ as she claims to be,” a source claims.
And the real reason Evelyn skipped the reunion is that she was afraid Tasha and Tami would retaliate against her by unleashing scandalous secrets about her relationship with Chad Johnson aka Ochocinco – and her new boyfriend LA Dodgers player Carl Crawford. Evelyn was so afraid of what would be revealed she told producers they could “sue her” if necessary but she would NOT be showing up!
Evelyn’s rep denies the entire story, btw!
Her rep said in a statement:
“Your story is not accurate. Evelyn’s reasons for not wanting to film the reunion is solely because she refuses to further talk about or discuss her ex-husband. And, Evelyn Lozada never stated that production could sue her.”
Could season 5 be the last season of Evelyn Lozada, since her twitter verifies that she doesn’t even have Basketball Wives listed anymore?
