Arnold’s Terminator: Genisys Gets Release Date
Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions reboot of the Terminator franchise will be titled Terminator: Genisys which is a cleaver way to set up for its sequels, like Terminator: Genisyx and Terminator: Geniseptem.
Although the titles are NOT set in stone, their release dates have now been established with the fifth film comes out in 2015. As for the sequels, they will hit the big screen in 2017 and 2018.
Here are the official release dates via Paramount/Skydance’s ant the Terminator reboot schedule:
Terminator: Genisys – July 1, 2015
Terminator 6 (Genisyx) – May 19, 2017
Terminator 7 (Geniseptem) – June 29, 2018
The plan is for the two sequels to film back to back, a plan which will likely hold true as long as the first film in the rebooted trilogy is a successful endeavor. Alan Taylor directs Arnold Schwarzenegger in his return to the title role, along with Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Jason Clarke, Matt Smith, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi and Byung Hun Lee.
