Continue on to watch as some kid just comes out of nowhere and dropkicked the former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger

CelebNMusic247.com reports that Arnold Schwarzenegger, 71, was blindsided when some kid decided to dropkick him at his sporting event called the Arnold Classic Africa.

In a video that was captured, Arnold Schwarzenegger was seen interacting with spectators during a jump-rope competition at the event at the Sandton Convention Centre. Out of nowhere, a man appears and dropkicks Schwarzenegger in the back, sending the former governor to the ground. As seen in the clip, his assaulter was immediately detained by security and dragged away.

Following the attack, Schwarzenegger took to Twitter to comment on the assault, he says:

Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot.

The crazy thing is that Schwarzenegger didn’t know he was actually kicked in the back during the incident. (above)

He Tweeted out to his fans saying to make sure the video is blurry so the kid who dropkicked him gets no spotlight:

We have 90 sports here in South Africa at the @ArnoldSports, and 24,000 athletes of all ages and abilities inspiring all of us to get off the couch. Let’s put this spotlight on them.

Arnold adds:

And if you have to share the video (I get it), pick a blurry one without whatever he was yelling so he doesn’t get the spotlight. By the way… block or charge?

The man who assaulted Schwarzenegger has been “known to the police for orchestrating similar incidents in the past,” according to reports.

The actor confirmed he had no intention of laying charges and would continue with another appearance on Sunday as planned.
