Ariane Speaks On LHHATL Reunion Brawl

Ariane Davis has played an intrical part on Love and Hip Hop Atlanta throughout the season, but during the reunion she made sure to air her feelings.

When asked about Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez attack on Benzino and Althea Hart, Mimi Faust bestie breaks it down from the jump from beginning to end. Ariane played referee between Mimi and Stevie and did a background check on Nikko to defend her friend.

Ariane Davis gives her spin on the fight remembering it as follows:

“Okay, I’m going to just say this about that day. When I walked into that building, there was an air. There was an air in that building that was so strong; it was so strong,it was like a darkness. I could feel it. I might sound crazy, something wasn’t right. The energy was so wrong and so bad. It came from all over the place. I sat still, and I’m usually, like I speak to everyone but I just was really quiet.

Sometimes you just have to be still and be quiet, but I could feel that that day wasn’t right before anything happened. Before any f*cking thing happened, I felt it.

So when I saw Stevie and Joseline I was like ‘okay.’ She’s not dressed like she’s usually dressed, for a reunion. That in itself kind of threw me. They didn’t seem like they were there to just be cool, you know what I mean? It’s like they came on a mission. And then as I was sitting on that stage, and I watched them politely get up and walk over there, nobody ran, nobody did anything. It was a smooth walk. I just sat there and then it went haywire. Like I kind of turned my head for a second, but I sat there on the stage for a minute before I got up.

Stephanie [the producer] told me to get up and I was like ‘Okay.’ So then when [Mimi] and I went to the bathroom…I never understood why Mimi was so angry [before her fight]. Like nothing had happened to her. Nothing. Like I wanted her to really calm down, like Mimi, ‘It’s okay, you’re safe, you’re safe!’ I wanted her to just calm the f*ck down but she was on ten! And I just, I didn’t know, I had no idea. When [Stevie and Joseline] walked past us, I was like ‘Oh sh*t, oh sh*t. Why are we walking down the same steps?’

In that moment I just, I didn’t know what to think anymore, Shirea. Like okay, this is like a gorilla that snapped—an animal that just snapped. She snapped, and clearly nobody could control her. Nobody. It was a sad day to me. That was a very sad day.

I was trying to make Mimi laugh, which I do a lot. Like when we got back into the room, her blood pressure had gone sky high. The medics came because her blood pressure was through the roof. Like this is not healthy Mimi! I need you to chill out. She hadn’t taken her medicine; she didn’t take her blood pressure medicine that day or anything. So I felt worried, you know, in that moment I was really worried for her health more than anything. Like okay, you got into a fight but boo-hoo your health right now. And I needed her to really think about Eva before any of this because that’s who you gotta live for now, not you. She needs to live for her, for her daughter. I didn’t want to tell her ‘chill’ because that would piss her off even more. You know, you can’t tell her ass anything when she’s like that. ‘Don’t tell me to f*cking calm down!’ That’s what she’ll be saying.

I feel like we need to do better. I felt like we as black women have to do better. So it’s—I’m gonna say it again—it saddens me to even see it all happening right in front of me. It’s kind of disgusting. I felt disgusted that day. I really did.”
