Anthony Bourdain Calls EDM is Priceless Douchedom
When it comes to EDM Anthony Bourdain has NOTHING GOOD to say about the Electronic dance music movement!
When it comes to Vegas Anthony Bourdain had some scathing words for EDM, its purveyors and fanatics.
CelebNMusic247.com has learned that The Taste judge has posted a video of he an Penn Jillette (of famed magic duo Penn & Teller) during a conversation over sushi. Anthony commented on Las Vegas’ recent lack of quality live music. The reason for such a dearth in a city known for its nightlife?
With the Electric Daisy Carnival coming back to Vegas for the 3-day festival June 20 – 22 we know one man won’t be attending!
Here is how Anthony Bourdain feels about EDM:
“These days, for better or worse, live acts, live performers are being squeezed out in favor of EDM, electronic dance music.”
“It’s a DJ’s world, and where once they used to say cocaine was God’s way of telling you you had too much money, now maybe EDM is.”
But Bourdain’s most biting remarks come when, over footage of club-happy youngins wielding glow-sticks, he summons the EDM world, sarcastically proclaiming:
“Come ye lordes and princelings of douchedom!”
