Alex Mack Signs 5 Year Deal with Jacksonville Jaguars
According to reports the Cleveland Browns have lost their center Alex Mack agreed to a five-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars!
Although the financials were NOT revealed CelebNMusic247.com has learned that the deal is said to make Mack the highest-paid center in the NFL.
The Browns had designated Mack as their transition player this offseason, allowing him to visit other teams and try to negotiate a new deal.
Cleveland now has five days to match the deal once Mack officially signs the offer sheet. Mack, 28, started all 16 games for the Browns last season, earning second-team All-Pro honors from theAssociated Press. He has not missed a game since coming into the league in 2009.
Browns owner Jimmy Haslam was confident that the team would be able to keep Mack.
Haslam said:
“We remain optimistic that Alex Mack will be a Cleveland Brown for a long time.”
”We want him to be. I think we’ve made it very clear that he’s the kind of person, the kind of player we want in our organization.”
