Academy Awards Responds To Joan Rivers Snub!!!
You would think that after 20 years that the Queen of the Oscar Red Carpet would get more respect from the Academy but now The Academy Awards Responds To Joan Rivers Snub.
Poor Excuse table of one, your table has been ready.
Apparently the Academy feels that Joan Rivers didn’t contribute a body of work that was eligible to be included in the “In Memoriam” portion of the Oscars.

Their exploitation is inexcusable and insulting that the Queen of the Oscar Red Carpet labors was NOT enough for Oscar 2015. Here is what the Academy had to say:
Today, the Academy has released a statement about the omission, telling USA Today, “Joan Rivers is among the many worthy artists and filmmakers we were unfortunately unable to feature in the In Memoriam segment of this year’s Oscar show. She is, however, included in our In Memoriam gallery on Oscar.com.”
Instead, the Oscars honored Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Maya Angelou, alongside such industry figures as Mickey Rooney, Robin Williams and Lauren Bacall.
To be honest the Oscar Red Carpet seemed manufactured and basically SUCKED without Joan Rivers. She really made the carpet an event that was truly a golden time now lost with her passing.
We miss you Joan. The Academy Awards didn’t truly realized the Diamond in the rough you actually were to viewers who loved to watch the carpet coverage because of Joan Rivers.
Do you feel Joan should have been a part of the In Memoriam segment?
