Move over American Idol and The Voice, because now Spike TV has Lip Sync Battle. Yeah they’re NOT looking for the next breakout star of the new voice of music. They’re looking for someone who can pretend to sing.

Expectations are high for LL Cool J Brings New Music Competition Show on Spike TV called, Lip Sync Battle.
The series takes a page from Jimmy Fallon’s popular Tonight Show segment and will be hosted by rap icon LL Cool J.
Here is what is being reported via MusicTimes:
LL Cool J has been tapped to host Spike TV’s upcoming adaptation of The Tonight Show‘s bit, Lip Sync Battle. Jimmy Fallon, John Krasinski andStephen Merchant are signed on as executive producers. The show will run for 10 episodes starting April 2, Deadline reports. “Like the rest of the world, I’m a big fan of these battles, but this show is going to bring it to a whole new level. I’m thrilled to be working with Jimmy Fallon, John Krasinski, Stephen Merchant, and the entire team to host the show and can’t wait for the fans at home to join in,” LL Cool J said.
