Bono Escape Death Midflight!!!
U2 frontman, Bono was on a private jet from Ireland to Germany the plane had a mid air malfunction and luckily Bono Escape Death Midflight.
CelebNMusic247.com caught wind via Gawker of the scary incident that almost ended U2 after the private jets doors flew off mid-flight but somehow managed not to crash.
One lucky U2 fan may one day come across Bono’s luggage since it’s reportedly scattering is somewhere in Europe.
German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation official Germout Freitag told ABC News, adding later that he has no idea why the accident occurred.
“The Learjet lost a door where the luggage was put in.”
“There can be many reasons for this incident. Either something broke on the door or the door wasn’t closed properly. Those are the usual problems that occur.”
The flight landed safely, and Bono and the other passengers were uninjured. Their luggage wasn’t so lucky. The Irish Mail reports that the passengers heard a “loud thud” mid-flight but didn’t realize a door had fallen off until after they landed.
A source told the Irish Mail:
“The entire door along with Bono and his companions’ luggage had fallen out mid-air,”
“They don’t know if the door and the contents landed over water or land but they were extremely lucky. They were at an altitude where anything could have happened and they are all feeling very lucky to be alive.”
Anything that deals with flying and accident is scary. We are just glad everything is all good.
