When it comes to the NeNe Leakes Challenge, Kenya Moore Finally Keeps Her Word To NeNe almost a year after the drama that took place on season 6 of RHOATL!

CelebNMusic247.com has just got word that Kenya Moore is finally keeping her word to donate a large chunk of change to the Detroit Public Schools, just a month shy of the new season’s premiere.

Talk about the timing is right, Kenya obviously knows what she is doing to make headlines and get her name back in the blogosphere.

To recap a very memorable argument on The Real Housewives Of Atlanta, NeNe Leakes challenged Kenya Moore to donate $20,000 to the Detroit Public Schools. It was the same incident NeNe called Peter Thomas a b—h which threw a wrench in Leakes and Cynthia Bailey’s friendship.

Anyways, Kenya’s apparent new motto is “Better late than never,” especially since she has finally decided to write the check she promised nearly a year ago.

Kenya managed to fulfill this request, NeNe promised that she would match the donation. Unfortunately, while the reality stars made a big deal about their charitable endeavors, neither failed to live up to the promise…until now! Kenya has finally decided to deliver the check she should have written months ago. Although she was most likely motivated by the attention surrounding her donation, it’s still nice to see $20,000 going to a great cause!

Detroit Public Schools Foundation president Glenda Price was clearly thrilled when she learned of Kenya Moore’s donation. She told the Detroit Free Press, “Naturally, it is an important contribution, and it is the kind of thing you want to see happen because when someone makes a public declaration, you want to feel as though it was an honest commitment. When we heard a date, we realized it was an honest commitment.”

Now, the question is, will NeNe match Kenya’s donation? The reality star’s fans are already pestering her on Twitter, so, hopefully, she’ll decide to make good on her promise.
