Teresa Giudice Sentenced To 15 Months in Prison
We know the Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa was hoping for house arrest but is seems that won’t be happening since Teresa Giudice Sentenced To 15 Months in Prison!
We understand this is NOT what she was planing, but it appears the Newark NJ Federal Judge did feel the same way because he sentenced her to 1.5 years in prison for fraud charges.
In a last attempt hoping for house arrest, Teresa Giudice read from a letter in court, per the New Jersey Record.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star said:
“I fully take responsibility for my actions.”
“I deeply love my family… My four daughters are my life.”
Teresa had been facing a possible term of 21 to 27 months behind bars, but luckily landed a lighter sentencing. As for, Joe Giudice, he was sentenced early this morn Joe Giudice was sentenced to 41 months in prison and ordered to pay $414,000 in restitution for fraud and failure to file federal income tax returns.
Joe and Teresa had pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud (and Joe pleaded to the tax evasion as well) back in March. Their sentencing was originally scheduled for July, but was postponed until September and then again pushed back to October 2nd.
It was requested that Joe and Teresa were to serve at separate time so there would be one parent to take care of their daughters.
We will see how this plays out or if they will be going to serve time at the same time?
