Martin Lawrence Confirms Bad Boys 3
Martin Lawrence confirmed that Bad Boys 3 is in development when he stopped by Conan O’Brien’s TBS show on Wednesday night.
The Boys are back in action!
After chatting with the host about working out and why you should never run in a plastic sweatsuit (he’s passed out in one), the actor, 49, addressed rumors about the third film — and rumors, it turns out, they’re not.
“I just talked to Jerry Bruckheimer yesterday,” said Lawrence of the producer of both previous Bad Boys installments (1995 and 2003). “And he said it’s real, they’re working on the script, they’re getting close, and it all looks good.”
No official word if Will Smith will be back to round out the duo of detectives, Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey, but Lawrence sure made it seem likely.
When O’Brien asked for a cameo in the film (which we fully support), Lawrence responded, “I will mention it to Will Smith and Jerry Bruckheimer.”
