Nicki Minaj BANNED from Philly
Sorry Barbz, but your YMCMB Queen, Nicki Minaj is NO LONGER allowed in Philadelphia after she did not clean up her lyrics for the family fun event held in Philadelphia on the 4th of July!
As we reported a few weeks ago, Nicki Minaj celebrated her 4th of July in Philadelphia along with The Roots, Ed Sheeran, Aloe Blacc, and Jennifer Hudson.
CelebNMusic247.com has learned that yesterday, Mayor Micheal Nutter was taken by surprise when Nicki sang her song her single “Yasss Bish,”but didn’t clean up her lyrics.
We have also learned via our friends at 4UMF.com that now Philly’s Mayor held an unscheduled press conference to address the city about Minaj‘s language stating that he was under the impression all of the artists performing were going to adjust their lyrics for the family friendly event.
When Phillymag.com published a review of the concert, they also attached a poll asking readers to vote whether or not they thought the language was an issue, and an astounding 83% believed the event could have been cleaner.
As a result of the poll, Mayor Nutter had no choice but to ban Nicki Minaj from any further performances during July 4th celebrations in Philly, so don’t hold your breath for next year Nicki fans.
Sorry, but Nicki is no longer allowed in Philly on the 4th of July, because she had a potty mouth on stage. Nicki is a spicy woman, so to have her tone down her act, fans will react. The love the melee.
