Michael Jackson Hologram At Billboard Awards:
The king lives on. Five years after his death, Michael Jackson was resurrected at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday.
CelebNMusic247.com has the full video via 4UMF.com who brings us The King of Pop as he appeared as a hologram to perform the Timbaland-produced “Slave to the Rhythm” off his posthumous album Xscape, which was released last week. Much like Tupac at Coachella, the digital creation was eerily lifelike, dancing its way across the stage.
The controversial performance drew a mixed response on Twitter. Some were impressed, while others were skeptical. “Dat was mike?” said Nicki Minaj.
Watch the MJ moment that had everyone talking.
We understand that everyone is loving this, but this is a disgrace – Micheal is gone and the fact that numerous producers are cashing in on songs that Michael Jackson did NOT deem worthy of his albums is wrong.
We understand that fans want more, but these songs do NOT do MJ justice on any level. We are so disappointed. Tupac and Michael holograms are top shelf but we have a feeling Michael is turning in his grave, because he was a perfectionist and would have NEVER released these songs with the way they sound. They are NO WHERE near The King of Pop’s stature.
