Chance The Rapper, 2 Chainz, Danny Brown And More React To Chicago pioneer DJ Rashad tragic Death! DJ Rashad died of an overdose at 35.

Music lost a legend today. And he was my friend. Love you DJ Rashad.  Another tragic death has affected the music industry as Chicago DJ Rashad has died from and apparent overdose.

He was found in his apartment yesterday afternoon. He was 35. DJ Rashad was a more well-known figure in the dance music world, he had his fair share of friends and admirers in the hip-hop sphere.

CelebNMusic247.com reports that yesterday, the 35-year-old DJ was found dead in his apartment, with narcotics and drug paraphernalia allegedly found near his body.

Many rappers and producers, including Rashad’s onetime tour-mate Chance The Rapper, took to Twitter to remember the music legend. DJ Rashad is known for his incrediable sounds he made for music like Future’s hit single Honest Remix.
