Astros Delino DeShields Face Looks Like Peter Griffin
Houston Astros prospect Delino DeShields Jr. decided to make fun of a bad situation and show off his extremely swollen face after getting hit at 90 mph.
DeShields was hit with a 90 mph fastball during a Double-A game CelebNMusic247.com learned via CBS Sports‘ Mike Axisa Twitter feed.
In 2010, DeShields Jr. was the eighth overall pick in the MLB draft. Get this, Delino was able to walk off the field under his own power after the play. We have also learned from Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports DeShileds Jr. has a fractured cheekbone.
Despite the fractured check bone, Delino DeShields Jr. is a pretty tough guy, because he is staying in good spirits in light of the extreme injury.
