Last night at the 2013 American Music Awards Katy Perry gave an amazing performance which some are dubbing her as a racist.
Katy Perry was AWESOME last night, NOT a racist!
Katy Perry looked great last night, but some people are saying that they are offended that Perry came out dressed like a Geisha!
Katy Perry stirred up some controversy during her opening performance of “Unconditional” at last night’s American Music Awards. Katy’s theme for that night was Japanese everything. She came out in a kimono surrounded by dancing geishas, Japanese fans, cherry blossoms and all that cultural appropriation.

There is a thing called cultured and that happens when one travels and experiences new things and incorporates their experience in their life. Like last night’s America Music Award performance from Katy Perry dressed in a kimono and Geisha clothing.
When is this stupidity gonna stop, Katy Perry is an artist and that was a performance, she was NOT making fun of Geisha’s in any way shape or form. She was paying homage to Geisha’s and anyone who doesn’t get that needs to shut up!
Why are people so hyper sensitive about things that we have been doing for years.
