Kim may have paved the road to the families success for laying on her back with Ray J, but those days are long over. These days, Kim is a mom, Khloe is a thirst trap trying to land a man, Kourtney is still irrelevant and Kylie is a sugar mama to Tyga.

Kendall Jenner is carving her own path as a model and men come and go. She’s NOT running after any guy to make herself complete. She has talent, but this Pepsi commercial is a joke.

Kendall is the first model to receive a major Pepsi ad since Cindy Crawford in 1992. But we have a problem with Pepsi and Jenner for making a commercial that has nothing to do with who Kendall is. Having her be the leader of a movement is so tone deaf its ridiculous!

Why is the Kendall Jenner Pepsi commercial Tone Deaf?

Metaphorically, the term fits because Jenner and Pepsi were not able to recognize that the commercial could be perceived as racist.

Instead of being pro-active like Pepsi thought, it had an opposite effect with Pepsi drinkers and now they are boycotting the brand. Here is what happened for the Pepsi stock on Wall Street. Kendall and the company were under attack, the stock went up, but the mea culpa was a disaster.

The stock went in a vertical direction right up until 1:20 PM ET when the ad was yanked. From there it was all downhill. At the end of the day Coke closed down .26% and Pepsi closed down .12%.

The sad part is Kendall probably doesn’t understand what we mean by tone deaf.

Civil rights activist Johnetta Elzie weighs in on the Kendall Jenner Pepsi ad:

Then, Civil rights activist Johnetta Elzie is slamming Kendall Jenner for pretending to be something she’s not in that Pepsi ad, and mocking the real work of real-life protesters.

Johnetta shouts out women who took part in actual protests across the country. She also calls out Pepsi for going radio silent when there was real work to be done in the community. She calls it an insulting marketing ploy.
