The rumors and rumblings turned out to be true after all, Jersey Shore Season 6 – which wrapped filming in July 7. The final season of the Guido reality TV series Jersey Shore is finally upon us.
MTV has officially announced that the show will have one last season without a renewal. MTV confirmed the news today.
After six seasons of heavy drinking, fighting, smushing and fun the eight guidos and guidettes will return for the final time on Thursday, October 4th at 10pm.

Although the party will never be over, summers at the “Shore” are officially coming to a close. MTV today announced that Season Six of “Jersey Shore,” premiering on Thursday, October 4 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, will mark the FINAL SEASON of the pop culture phenomenon.
Everyone from Italian American organizations to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has slammed the show and cast for giving Italian Americans and Jersey residents a bad name.
Welp after 6 years of outlandish hooligans from standout characters like Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, the show was a huge success.
The series, filmed in a house in Seaside Heights, NJ, for the first season, moved to other locations in later seasons like Miami and Florence, Italy. But they returned to the now iconic Shore house for seasons 3 and 5, as well as for the upcoming final season 6.
