The former Hootie and the Blowfish frontman, Darius Rucker had a bit of racism on his Twitter account when a Rucker follower attacked the country star.
After Hootie and the Blowfish disbanded, Darius reinvented his career as a country music singer, and he is quite good I might add!
However, Rucker responded to the rasist Tweets and took matter if his own hands by retweeting the offensive remark, and added his own response to the ignorance of racism he was subjected to endure on his Twitter account.
Here’s What Darius said on his Twitter accound:
Gotta go to bed this has been hilarious tonight. If any hater thinks I care what u think. I don’t make music for u. So don’t listen.

The Darius Rucker racist Tweet cause a lot of reaction from fans, who retweeted Rucker’s response hundreds of times. When asked by a Twitter user why he even bothers to respond to racist Tweets, Darius Rucker said simply “So the world can see them.”
Rucker’s foray into country music has been remarkably successful, and he has become the biggest African-American country singer since Charley Pride topped country charts in the early 1980s.
