(CelebNMusic247-News) Kelly Rowland Airs Dirty Laundry About Beyonce
Former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland is finally opening up about Beyonce and her jealousy
In a very emotionally revealing new track Dirty Laundry, Rowland sings about her dramas, her issues and dealing with the ins and outs of the music industry noone really knows about.
Kelly goes in her best friend and former bandmate, Beyonce becoming a superstar while she languished in the background.
One lyric is particularly revealing:
“When my sister was on stage killin’ it like a (expletive)/ I was enraged, feelin’ it like a (expletive)/ Bird in a cage/ You would never know what I was dealin’ with/ Went our separate ways but I was happy she was killin’ it/ Bittersweet she was up, I was down/ No lie, I feel good for her but what do I do now? … Post-Survivor, she on fire/ Who wanna hear my (expletive)?”
Rowland reveals another secret in the song as well about a past abusive relationship. She sings that she was allegedly “battered” by a former boyfriend (whom she doesn’t name).
She also reveals that she went through a period of depression and pain where she was mad at Beyoncé and everyone else for trying to help her.
She sings:
“Kinda lucky I was in her shadow/ Phone call from my sister, ‘What’s the matter?’ “
Do you know who that could be?
Interestingly, frequent Beyoncé collaborator The-Dream produced Rowland’s track, which is from her upcoming and highly anticipated album Talk A Good Game.
This song may reveal many emotions for Kelly, but we dub this one of her best songs to date. We are sorry she had to go through so much pain, but pain sometime equals super-stardom, which Kelly deserves.
Listen to the “Dirty Laundry” in its entirety below, and keep in mind that it features plenty of strong language:
