Yesterday (May 7) Jaheim released his new song, “Age Ain’t a Factor,” (which is available on iTunes now) from his sixth studio album Appreciation Day.
Even though we haven’t heard from the New Jersey crooner for a minute, he reveals he has a special surprise for loyal supporters.
Word is, Jaheim, in conjunction with his label, Atlantic Records, is organizing a giveaway where the winner and his or her mother will win an all-expense paid weekend that includes tickets to attend his May 11 concert in Atlantic City. All in time for Mother’s Day (May 12).
While not everyone can win that prize, fans can look forward to a collection of new material from Jaheim, which is also a gift for their support throughout the years.
Jaheim said in a statement:
“It’s been so long since I’ve had a chance to create music from my heart for the fans that have loved and supported me from the start.”
“I decided to call the project ‘Appreciation Day’ because that’s exactly what this album is. My show of appreciation to them.”
He continued:
“It’s a feel good album with very special messages hidden in every song. I’m looking forward to this journey with my fans.”
‘Appreciation Day’ is set for a 2013 fall release.
