We have weighed in several times that Ben Affleck is the worst Batman of them all, and now his brother Casey Affleck slipped up and spilled some tea on the situation.

At the recent Comic Con in San Diego, Ben Affleck denied the claim he wanted out of the role outside of the Justice League. Now, see what Casey Affleck just said during an interview….

CelebNMovies247.com has learned that via Ben Affleck’s brother, Casey Affleck the he is no longer going to play the Caped Crusader.

Casey Affleck recently sat down with WEEI Sports Radio he doesn’t think Ben is going to star in director Matt Reeves‘ The Batman.

Moments later, Casey retracting the statement, saying he was just making stuff up. The Manchester by the Sea star was asked about what he thought of his brother’s performance as the famous superhero.

Casey started off saying [Jokingly]:

“I thought he was an OK Batman. No, I thought he was great. He was great. He’s a hero, so he had something to channel and work with there. But he’s not going to do that movie, I don’t think. Sorry to say.”

Then, the radio hosts were thankful for the breaking news, and that is when Casey started backtracking:

“Is that breaking news? Because I was just kind of making that up, I don’t know.”

We will have to wait and see if Casey was just trying to stir the pot for the DCEU stars future as The Bat. Not to mention, if was Ben’s birthday, so what’s a little misleading drama to say happy birthday bro?

Whatever the outcome, here’s to hoping Casey’s slip up is true. Like we said before, Ben Affleck is the worst Batman of them all. #RecastPlease!
