Not only is Lauryn Hill facing jail time for tax evasion she is being sued by landlord.
Harsh times ahead for former Fugee, Lauryn Hill as she will face sentencing next week for tax evasion, following her pleading guilty to three years of not filing her federal tax returns.
Hill also has issues with a her landlord, since TMZ reports that a South Orange, NJ home of Hill’s is currently in default.
She has been a tenant there since 2009, but has failed to make rental payments over the last three months. The superstar rapper/singer’s landlord has filed a lawsuit for eviction.
Hill is set to be in court on April 22nd.
She has not responded publicly to the landlord’s lawsuit.
