Reality shows come and go but one upcoming show has created a lot of buzz before an episode has even aired. “BMF Wives” follows Toni, Lisa, Janell, and Temeka who had their worlds rocked after the 2005 federal indictment that came down on BMF. Seeking to re-build her life and in search of redemption, Toni served nearly three years in federal custody and wants to turn her life around. The past seems to find Lisa in what seems to come with “the game” Temeka wishes to move on with her life and keep her friendship intact with a man she once thought she knew. Janell is currently engaged to Big Meech and is standing by him during his 30-year sentence.
To promote their upcoming reality show, Janell and Toni spoke with 4UMF for an in-depth interview. Janelle was very vocal about why she’s doing the show and how she hopes to help Big Meech’s appeal.
“I think that people have a bad perception about BMF and these guys need a voice. They need a voice to speak up for them. They hung with a lot of major players likePuffy and Jeezy. I would think that these people would have been the ones trying to bring them home. Jeezy trying to bring Boosie home. He actually brought him home, really. Mentally it confuses me because I was there and I know how good Meech was to these people and I just don’t understand why they’re not stepping up more than they are or not stepping up at all actually.”
Janell also spoke about the first time she heard Rick Ross‘ ‘B.M.F. (Blowin Money Fast)’ and the mixed feelings she initially had.
Toni wrapped up her prison sentence at the top of the year and immediately began working on the reality show. “When you come home you dont know. You don’t know what’s out here and You jump into all of these frying pans and you dont know whats going on I understand the industry now and I’m more mature so the timing is right.”
