In case you didn’t hear, Young Thug is believing his own hype and has just made himself the Donkey of the month with his statement claiming he’s the #NewPac. WTF?
Read on to see the crazy that Young Thug and other rappers are claiming these days…

There will NEVER be another Tupac or a Biggie, what the contributed to hip hop has yet to been repeated, especially with the style rap Young Thug is doing.
Tupac and Biggie told stories of relevance, what was going on in the hood and in the inner cities. Pac was a intellectual, educated. He was a prolific lyricist that spoke for the black community that had the politicians and FEDS trying to shut him down.
Thugger is NONE of that, but for some reason he was compelled to release this statement last week
Young Thug tweeted:
“I dropped E.B.B.T.G. on 2PAC’S bday because I’m the #NewPac. I feel like I’m the thug he didn’t get to become.”
He followed his statement with the hash tag, #SoImGoinFinishWhatHeStarted along with an emoji of a woman flipping her hair.
Huh? Has he listened to Tupac’s lyrics?
First off, Pac would NEVER be scene in a dress and if he was still around, we doubt he’s respect or deal with Thugger on any level. What is sad is the fact that rappers comparing themselves to the rap icon has become cliche these days. What happened to being yourself and making a movement of your own. If he was truly the Tupac of today, we’d be saying that. It’s whack when a rapper tries to make those claims. It just makes Young Thug look absolutely stupid.
What’s even worse is that in April, Troy Ave called himself the second coming of Makaveli during an interview on The Breakfast Club. “I go in the mothafuckin’ clubs and niggas goin’ crazy. Oh shit, that’s Troy Ave, nigga it’s the second coming of 2Pac, it’s NewPac.’” A few days later, he release the street album, Dope Boy Troy Vol. 2: NuPac.
It only got worse when Boosie BadAzz decided to tell DJ Vlad he was Pac as well. We found this to be truly disappointing to hear Boosie say something so dumb. In an attempt to say he’s the next Pac, Boosie referenced Shakur with a project called BooPac where he stated:
“I know it’s gon’ be a big ol’ thang, but it’s in my heart. That’s what I want to do. I’m naming it BooPac. It’s a double disc, 26 songs. Because I’m my generation’s 2Pac. A lotta people didn’t grow up on 2Pac. Lotta people didn’t grow up on Biggie. Those who love that kind of music grew up on me. That’s one reason I’m [doing it]. Another reason is the ‘Pac music is forgotten about now. That real music that touch you, that feel like he was brought into yo household witchu like he was yo cousin. That music is forgotten about right now.”
Do these rappers ever take a moment to see how dumb the look and sound?
Thanks to YFN Lucci, he didn’t let Jeffrey slide with that statement. He BLASTED Thugger on Twitter saying:
Lucci said:

Of course, Young Thug tried to say he was hating, but no, YFN Lucci was speaking truth.

Thug is on his own path, carving his own lane in hip hop with his fashion. He shouldn’t compare himself to a lyricist on that level. It’s like oil and water…NOT THE SAME!
